Post Graduate Diploma Course in Hydro Power Plant Engineering


The main aim of this course is to develop a pool of technically trained manpower readily available for recruitment in the Indian Power Sector. The course enhances the knowledge and skill of the fresh Graduate Engineers who join this course as their own as well as the engineers sponsored by the Power Utilities.

Basically this a modular course of 39 weeks duration & covers all aspects of Hydro Power Plant Engineering including O & M, Erection, Commissioning, Management, Distribution of Electricity & Tariff.

The course profile covers the mandatory requirements under Indian Electricity Amendment Rules, 1981. The course authorizes the Engineer to operate & maintain hydro Power Plants.
